AB Nation, this week we have a summary over the weeks, this time from Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, and the latest live album from Alter Bridge.
SLASH : REEL TO REAL EPISODE 4 DAN 5
Through video, which until now has reached 5 episodes that we know that Slash is busy in the studio with friends – the Conspirators and assisted by producer Michael Elvis Baskette where reportedly they will finish around 18 songs.18 Originally this song is still in rough shape and the results recorded in the studio tracking and Los Angeles, United States which on tape tape containing the drum, bass and guitar from Brent Fitz, Todd Kerns and Slash before then will be completed in the studio owned Elvis Baskette in Orlando, Florida.
In Florida Slash will complete all portions of his guitar and he would meet with Myles Kennedy, who had been looking to fill the vocal, not only because of the actual vocal Myles is also responsible for the lyrics of the song that his on.

Slash, Todd Kerns and Brent Fitz first work in LA with Elvis when Myles Kennedy were out touring with Alter Bridge, Slash admits to share all of recording progress every day to share this via a text message with Myles.When AB was within day off like coming home from Jakarta, for example, Myles really – really take advantage of the tight time, as Myles will be back on tour with Alter Bridge in mid-April.
Last Thursday, for example, Myles who did not have much time off again to share the progress, this time a little more relaxed and smelling of old school movie titled Cujo. Overall on album Slash’s third album will be recorded in shades of good and fun, starting with recruiting new producer Michael Elvis Baskette which will provide new variation for Slash. Brent Fitz had just celebrated his birthday last March 27 and he admitted very pleased to be able to methods for working with Slash in the studio, according to Todd Kerns and the Conspirators had matured since March 2014 they had reached the age of two years playing as The Conspirators, as he’s tweeted “A little late but just Realized that we played our 1st official show as ‘Conspirators’ 2 yrs ago March 23/2012 Phoenix Theater Toronto.Cool”, and of course Myles Kennedy, this will be the 3rd album with Slash since 2010.
For the tour, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators will begin their journey this year as well, especially in the U.S. and surrounding areas where they would start at the festival Big Fest 2014 in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada in July. They will accompany Aerosmith which became headliner this year, in addition to a three-day festival will be enlivened by the most popular singers of all time from Canada, Bryan Adams, and then Slash will have an agenda for the Summer tour in the U.S. supporting Aerosmith on tour.

Back to Reel to Real, this time we’ve had episodes 4 and 5.In section 4 you can listen to how Elvis Baskette share his studio equipment, and how he’s feeling when Elvis first to meet with Slash for later recording with Slash and the Conspirators and their relationships with Myles and Alter Bridge.

Slash also talked about the good relationship with Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge and the recent album of AB, and of course the approach from Myles Kennedy really helps Slash’s solo career, as well as the opinion of the Elvis Baskette Slash who understands rock n ‘roll itself.
Elvis himself said that he as a producer will form certain shape direction of each production, and for this album with Slash he claimed to be more directed and emphasize its sound to the album is classic, and Elvis is a long-time fan of Slash.
While in section 5, Slash talks about how he manage his guitar, a guitar that has been known by Slash and how he recognizes any guitar collection to be used during the recording of the song. As well to the Gibson Les Paul, a guitar used by Slash from GNR’s first album also brought to the album, his upcoming the third solo.

Alter Bridge Live in Milan, a third live album by Alter Bridge will be released in June, this year. The first preview is shared by Mark Tremonti http://facebook.com/marktremonti on 03/22/2014 and through his Facebook page in which Mark writes: “The Official Trailer for the upcoming Live CD,DVD and Blu-Ray release of” Alter Bridge: Live In Milan “along with a link of the trailer this release.
Alter Bridge “Live in Milan” is an Alter Bridge show in Milan, Italy where the show has been going on 12 November 2013 and at the venue Mediolanum Forum which category the number of sold-out performances at 10,000 on spectators.
The show was recorded when using 18 HD cameras captured Daniel Catullo, person in charge of the 18 songs performed that night Alter Bridge.As in the trailer footage, Alter Bridge Live in Milan this will involve collaboration between Alter Bridge and a special guest of the show, Lzzy Hale of Halestorm.Not only that, this will be the first live album Alter Bridge material containing songs from their latest album, Fortress.
Alter Bridge live in Milan are the other offerings of The City Drive Entertainment Group and DC3 Music Group, where cultivation of films will be produced by City Drive Films Production.They are the names of entities that have been behind Alter Bridge, especially with regard to the production and release of specially Alter Bridge live and live albums starting from Amsterdam 2009, Wembley 2012, the album anniversary edition of Alter Bridge X, and in mid of 2014’s legacy continues with Alter Bridge Live in Milan, to be released in June 2014.

Mark Tremonti akan segera punya guitar custom terbaru. Mark Tremonti memesan gitar model PRS Tremonti terbaru ini langsung ke seniman monochrome asal Inggris, Joe Fenton. Joe lewat halam Facebooknya sendiri juga terlihat sangat puas dengan pengerjaan ini.

masih belum ada keterangan akan dipakai dimana gitar ini untuk pertama kalinya oleh Mark. Sejumlah fans secara online merespon agar dipakai pada video klip terbaru Tremonti nantinya.
Sejauh ini dari album All I Was, baru ada 2 video klip yang dirilis: You Waste Your Time, dan Wish You Well, 2 lagu andalan dari album solo pertama Mark Tremonti dalam band yang ketika dibentuk oelh Mark berformasikan Mark Tremonti (Vocal,Gitar), Eric Friedman (Gitar), Garrett Whitlock (Drums), dan Brian Marshall pada bass dan disiapkan untuk formasi tour – Brian kemudian mundur baik baik dengan alasan personal, bass kemudian di isi oleh Wolfgang Van Halen yang kemudian menjadi personil permanen- mereka semua tergabung dalam Tremonti.
Setelah 2 tahun usia album ini sejak dirilis 2012 lalu, dan adanya pertunjukan di Shprocked Fest 2014 Februari lalu, kini Tremonti Project segera akan kembali trek. Plot besarnya adalah : Album baru dengan materi baru, Wolfgang Van Halen akan berkontribusi sebagai personil sejak rekaman, Eric Friedman masih ada, Garrett Whitlock juga. Bahkan update terakhir dari Garrett sepulang Tremonti dari Jakarta dengan Alter Bridge, dia sudah melakukan sedikit pemanasan dengan materi Dimmu Borgir untuk kemudian segera memulai masuk studio latihan.

Ini merupakan isyarat-isyarat kepastian bahwa Tremonti juga akan menuju kearah album, namun belum ada detil yang didapat, melainkan salah 1 reply dari @MarkTremonti kepada fans tentang penerus album pertama, All I Was dengan “Hopefully this year”.
Selepas perjalanan tahap pertama tour 2014 Alter Bridge, AB akan punya waktu lowong beberapa pekan kedepan hingga medio April 2014 nanti sebelum AB akan me-restart bahagian tour panjang mereka dimulai dari Amerika Serikat, Eropa, kemudian kembali ke Amerika tengah tahun untuk tour musim panas mereka disana, hingga akhir tahun dengan perkiraan akan menambah rute menuju Amerika Selatan seperti informasi yang kami punya dari Michael Tremonti (AB dan promoter setempat tidak/belum mendapat deal/waktu yang tepat). Dan percayalah, waktu sempit mereka lalui dengan keluarga sehari – hari, dan juga tetap dibarengi dengan jadwal bermusik, seperti pada beberapa tahun terakhir ini.
Dan memang dalam masa lowong ini Myles akan mengisi vocal dan hal lainnya untuk kegiatan bersama Slash – Slash mengonformasi itu lewat webisode terbaru dibawah – dan direksi terdekat Tremonti seperti yang kita tahu lewat updates dari Garrett Whitlock dan Mark Tremonti yakni album baru.
Note: 2014 tetaplah menjadi tahun panjang bagi Alter Bridge demi mendukung Fortress dan bekerja sebagai Alter BRidge, namun sekedar informasi saja sebagaimana kita ketahui ketika Alter Bridge tidak sedang dalam calendar shiftnya (ada waktu lowong diluar AB) maka pada saat itulah umumnya personil yang berhubungan dalam band/project diluar Alter Bridge seperti Creed, Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Tremonti, Projected semuanya memanfaatkan waktu mereka, seperti saat ini misalnya, sepulang dari tour Jepang, Australia, Singapura dan Indonesia.
Dan untuk saat ini, sepertinya dan memang hanya Creed yang statusnya tidak sedang berjalan – Scott Stapp, Vokalis Creed sedang dalam tour juga untuk album solo keduanya, meskipun lewat sejumlah interview Mark Tremonti mengaku ada beberapa lagu baru yang dikerjakan sebagai kebutuhan Creed -, sementara Myles dan Slash statusnya adalah aktif (ikuti Judul Slash dibawah), dan akan segera menyelesaikan album ke 3 mereka bersama produser Michael Elvis Baskette.
MEMBER FOKUS, BRIAN MARSHALL
Ini adalah focus pertama kita kepada Bassist Brian Marshall di halaman wordpress (Scott Phillips ada di postingan Tribute and Respond Alter Bridge INA, Myles Kennedy ada di beberapa judul, sama juga dengan Mark Tremonti). Semoga fans tetap dan bisa lebih dekat dengan Brian Marshall mengacu kepada Brian adalah member Alter Bridge/Creed yang tidak terlalu sibuk bermusik diluar kedua band yang turut dibesarkannya itu, sehingga pendekatan yang berkaitan dengan musik tidak terlalu banyak ruang dari Brian kecuali dia sedang duduk bersama member lain, ditambah tidak ada lagi akun Twitter pula. Tapi Brian juga pernah nge-tweet dari akun Alter Bridge, menyapa fansnya. Brian juga sibuk mengelola bisnis Propertinya. Intinya adalah Brian Marshall memang seperti ini sejak dulu, dari kasat mata fans normal, semoga tulisan ini jauh dari unsur emosional pribadi, sikap penggemar kepada idol terkadang memang… you know! Termasuk tulisan. Shame I couldn’t meet Brian at the Airport and to see him during HRCJ media session. Tapi ada sesi interaksi – ketika ada jeda dibahagian tengah salah satu setlist AB, bahagian bass sedang break saat itu, dan Brian semacam beristirahat, relaks melihat lama kearah audience, berbagi atmosfer, arah dekat panggung? Entahlah, mungkin saat itu saya yang paling lama melihat ke arah Brian, mungkin penonton sedang melihat kearah lain, dan dia berhenti di arah itu dimana persis saya berdiri, dan saya langsung……………\m/ sekitar 8 detik durasi ke arahnya? 8 detik dengan eye contacts? 8 detik untuk mensinkronisasi/mentransfer energy ala fan ke Idolnya? Semacam: “Brian, you killed it man! You rock, I shout..!” Begitulah, semoga Brian yang saat itu mengangguk dan tersenyum senang kearah saya karena mengerti maksud transfer energy itu dan mengambilnya, dan dia tidak melupakan momen itu. Dan jika Brian ingat 1 orang dengan t-shirt AB warna abu-abu lalu menunjuk satu jari ke arahnya dengan maksud “you the big reason,you are my man” itu adalah saya, dan maaf saya seharusnya memberi hormat dengan gesture tangan kanan diatas mata? But you know, moment penggemar terhadap idol terkadang….seperti ini, maaf. Semoga saya juga mewakili AB Nation lainnya.

Hingga saat ini diketahui Alter Bridge akan memulai tour lagi pada bulan April mendatang, mereka baru saja menyelesaikan agenda 2014 Australian Fortress Tour termasuk perjalanan ke Jepang, Singapura, dan Indonesia. Pada waktu mendatang itu Alter Bridge akan bermain di kota asal mereka, Florida.
WJJR Earth Birthday 2014
Alter Bridge akan bermain di salah satu event rock festival tahunan setempat dalam merayakan hari bumi, WJJR Earth Birthday tajuk acaranya. Event ini memang dalam menyambut peringatan penambahan usia bumi, dan masyarakat disana berkumpul di tengah – tengah Negara bagian, Florida.Alter Bridge akan bertindak sebagai band pengisi utama acara tersebut. Acara yang sebelumnya juga pernah diikuti oleh Korn dan Trivium ini nati juga akan diramaikan dengan nama semacam Everclear, Filter, All That Remains, Alient Ant Farm, Lacuna Coil, Soil,dan Saigon Kick. Khusus bagi Lacuna Coil, fans AB disini pasti juga tidak asing dengan band asal Italia ini, yang mana vokalis cantiknya Christina Scabbia pernah berduet bersama Alter Bridge pada masa perilisan Blackbird, versi duet untuk lagu Watch Over You saat itu.
Ini adalah jadwal Alter Bridge, menjadi pertunjukan pertama dalam rangkaian 2014 Fortress Spring Tour di Amrik, dimana Alter Bridge akan memainkan 11 pertunjukan di rumah mereka, sebelum kemudian kembali ke Eropa untuk pentas semacam Download festival, atau festival besar di Swedia dan kemudian kembali lagi ke US untuk rangkaian 2014 Fortress Summer Tour.

Metode rekaman dengan pita kaset yang kaya dengan kesan old school ini adalah direksi dari pembuatan album solo ke 3 Slash. Metode yang termasuk langka,mulai ditinggalkan, mahal dan tidak semua dipakai di Indonesia ini misalnya, sekarang sedang dilalui dengan baik proses rumitnya oleh Slash dan 2 temannya yang tergabung di band Conspirators Todd Kerns (Bass), dan Brent Fitz (drums), serta vokalis yang dicintai Slash sejak tahun 2002, Myles Kennedy. Untuk kali pertama album Slash akan diproduseri oleh Michael Elvis Baskette, produser kesayangan fans Alter Bridge.
Para member The Conspirators mengaku ini adalah pengalaman rekaman baru mereka, dan merupakan level lainnya yang dilalui mereka dalam bermusik bersama Slash dan Myles Kennedy khususnya.
Lewat webisode Real to Reel – Episode 1 hingga 3 (terbaru terbitan 11 Maret 2014) persembahan Ernie Ball, bassist Todd Kerns mengatakan: “Ketika tombol rekaman dinyalakan, dan.. kamu seperti menulis/memasang sesuatu dengan batu..” , “Saya kehilangan jejak di studio ini. Siapa saya, ini hari apa, dan siapakah orang – orang ini?”
Mereka memang menghabiskan banyak waktu di studio. Menurut Slash, dalam 6 hari mereka melahap dan menyelesaikan 17 lagu. Brent Fintz, drummer ini bahkan mengalami tekanan sejak hari pertama rekaman di Studio yang berada di Los Angeles, Amerika Serikat ini. Mengingat proses rekaman, tracking, menulis – yang hanya musisi yang lebih paham dunia itu, saya tidak dan hanya penggemar dan pembaca- menurut Brent posisi drum adalah yang tersulit dan menentukan.
Menemukan vibe, seni yang hampir dilupakan dalam rekaman, yakni untuk menggunakan pita rekaman analog. Alasan utama mereka berada di studio rekaman di LA, Amerika serikat ini adalah karena disini ada 2 mesinnya. Masa awal disana adalah drum, tekanannya lebih berat, semua bergantung pada saya sendiri. Ini adalah dasar awal untuk kemudian ditulis semua kedalam album, hasilnya sudah ada 17 lagu yang dikerjakan, aku Brent Smith.
Masih dari Brent Fitz: “Mereka (semua yang bekerja di studio) banyak menghabiskan waktu di studio, untuk menyelesaikan semua lagunya. Studio ini sulit, kamu seperti ditodong senjata.” Dari cuplikan rekaman terdengar komunikasi bersama operator (production produser) menggunakan microphone dan pengeras suara antar ruangan yang hanya terpisah dengan kaca ini, dan komunikasi benar benar penting.
Bagi Brent, ini adalah pengalaman barunya dalam rekamanan di studio, “terbiasa sambil ngopi dan cemilan, kali ini harus sadar kalau segala sesuatunya berbeda. Jadi ketika tidak sedang take, saya langsung…..”
Dan mengenai waktu yang dihabiskan distudio Slash mengatakan,
“ini adalah orang – orang yang akan bermain live bersama kamu, dan kamu harus melakukan itu di studio sebanyak yang kamu bisa”. “Mereka menyelesaikan sekitar 17 lagu dalam 6 hari. Di pekan depan saya akan berada di Florida, dimana Elvis punya studio disana untuk mengisi semua gitar. Kemudian Myles akan datang kesana, menjumpai saya disana untuk mengisi semua vokalnya. Dan Myles juga punya lirik, melodi. Myles, ini akan jadi rekaman yang sangat menarik.” Kata Slash.
“Kami tidak saling banyak angkat berbicara satu sama lain, karena music itu sendiri yang berbicara. Kami tidak terlalu banyak mengulang ,membiarkan itu mengalir saja. Terkadang dalam musik kendalanya adalah analisa berlebih. kami suka hal itu simple, itulah mengapa kami menggunakan pita 2 inci, kami coba bermain seperti band rock klasik. Semua band favorit kami memakai cara yang sama, maka itu semua terasa masuk pada kami”. Pelajaran besar dari Brent adalah, dewasa. “Saya rasa saya perlu bermain dalam porsi drum yang besar disini, saya mengejutkan orang – orang, mungkin ketika saya berumur 18 tahun saya mencoba hal itu, hal – hal yang bisa saya pamerkan. Sekarang hanya tentang, tentang lagu.” Tutup Brent Fitz.
Slash akan segera kembali dengan album barunya yang akan rilis tahun 2014 ini. Ini merupakan lanjutan dari Slash, Myles Kennedy, Todd Kerns, dan Brent Fitz memulai bersama sejak proses rekaman, mengingat the Conspirators dibentuk oleh Slash sesaat jelang Apocalyptic Love. Ini juga merupakan album lanjutan Slash yang direkam menggunakan perlengkapan analog, demi direksi music yang diinginkan oleh proyek Slash yang tergabung dalam Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators ini.

Mark Tremonti will soon have the latest custom guitar. Mark Tremonti PRS Model Guitar Tremonti was designed by British monochrome artist, Joe Fenton. Joe through his Facebook pages in itself also looks very satisfied with his work.

There is still not much information will be used where the guitar is set for the play first time by Mark. A number of online fans respond to that used in the latest video clips Tremonti later.
So far from the album All I Was , there are 2 new video clip released : You Waste Your Time, Wish You Well, and the lead track from his first solo album in the band’s Mark Tremonti that when formed enumerated by Mark consisting Mark Tremonti (Vocals, Guitar), Eric Friedman (Guitar), Garrett Whitlock (Drums) , and Brian Marshall on bass and prepared for the formation of the tour – safely Brian then backed either by personal reasons, the bass then filled by Wolfgang Van Halen who later became permanent personnel – they all joined in Tremonti.
After 2 years of age since the album was released in 2012, and the presence of Shiprocked Fest show in February 2014, is now Tremonti Project will soon return to the tracks. The main plot is : a new album with new material, Wolfgang Van Halen will contribute as personnel from the beginning, Eric Friedman was still there, Garrett Whitlock as well. Even after the last update from Garrett with Tremonti returns from Jakarta with Alter Bridge, he has been doing a little warm up with Dimmu Borgir material to enter the studio and then immediately start studio rehearsals.

ALTER BRIDGE AFTER JAKARTA
Until now known Alter Bridge will start the tour again in 12 April 2014, they had just completed Fortress Australian Tour 2014 agenda included a debut trip to Japan, Singapore, and Indonesia as Alter Bridge. At the time of the upcoming Alter Bridge will play in their home town, Florida,USA. AB will play at one of the local events in the annual rock festival celebrating Earth Day , Earth Birthday show was held by WJJR, one of the big rock stations in Florida.

This event is in commemoration of the increasing age of the earth, and the people gathered there in the center of the state, Florida. Alter Bridge will act as the main band filling the on this event. The event had previously been followed by Korn and Trivium. This year will be enlivened by sort of name like Everclear, Filter, All That Remains, Alient Ant Farm, Lacuna Coil, Soil, and Saigon Kick. Especially for Lacuna Coil, AB fans here certainly also be familiar with this Italian band, which is the beautiful singer Christina Scabbia ever duet with Alter Bridge at the time of release of Blackbird, a duet version of the song Watch Over You at that time.

Brent Fitz, even the drummer feels like under pressure from the first day in the recording studio in Los Angeles. And in the next week I will go on Florida, where Elvis has a studio, so I many go over there and do all the guitars. And Then Myles gonna come out there, meet me there and he’s gonna do all the vocals and I’m in hangin out for that. And Myles also got insane melodies, and lyrics, all kind of stuff of these songs…”
“We do not talk to each other much, because the music that speaks the most. We do not repeat too much, just let it flow. Sometimes the problem is the analysis of musical excess. we like it simple, that’s why we use a 2 -inch tape, we try to play like a classic rock band does. All of our favorite bands do same way, then it all seemed to get in on us” .The great lesson of Brent is, an maturity. “I think I need to play in a large portion of the drums filled, I surprise people – man,maybe when I was 18 years old I tried it, things that I can show them. Slash will soon be back with his new album which will release this 2014. This is a continuation of Slash, Myles Kennedy,Todd Kerns and Brent Fitz to start together again since the recording process, given the Conspirators formed by Slash shortly ahead of Apocalyptic Love. Addicted to Pain menjadi salah satu pembicaraan yang kembali hangat pekan ini dari band Alter Bridge. Hardrockhideout.com menulis lagu yang dirilis sebagai first single dari album Fortress ini menembus 5 besar Chart Radio rock di Amerika Serikat mengacu pada format Mediabase Active Rock Chart dimana melibatkan 1,700 stasiun radio disana dan mengacu pada BDS Rock Chart. Salah satu stasiun radio dengan basis pendengar rock WJJO di Madison, Wisconsin mengatakan, “This song has the USA figuring out what the rest of the world already knew: Alter Bridge is amazing.”
Ini pencapaian yang sangat baik, melihat Alter Bridge tidak didukung Roadrunner untuk segala aktifitas album khusus di Amerika melainkan AB didukung penuh oleh label mereka sendiri secara independent dengan Nama Alter Bridge Recordings, EMI/Capitol dan didistribusikan bersama Caroline.

Masih ada kabar lanjutan setelah sembilan hari kepulangannya ke Miami dari perjalanan kapal laut mewah dengan destinasi Bahamas, Pearl sebuah kapal pesiar Norwegia yang mengangkut penumpang semacam Tremonti, Candlebox, Art of Dying dan lainnya masih menyimpan beberapa cerita sisa.
Shiprocked, tajuk sebuah festival rock tahunan diatas laut yang memiliki 6 Panggung dan 3000 lebih kapasitas penumpang ini juga bekerja sama dengan badan amal bernama Cancer Sucks untuk menggalang dana dengan tujuan membantu siapapun yang terkena kanker, dengan harapan mendapat 12 ribu dollar namun ternyata hingga hari akhir meraup $130.000.
Kembali pada band, para fans yang melewatkan penampilan Tremonti yang hari pertama bermain di stage Headbanger Lounge mendapat kesempatan untuk menyaksikan lagi aksi Tremonti kali ini di pentas yang lebih besar dan lebih wajar, Meliti Stage. Dan satu info tambahan dari percakapan Loudwire dengan Tremonti disimpulkan sepertinya mereka akan mengerjakan lagu baru bersama-sama segera setelah jadwal gila mereka memungkinkan.
Di Meliti Stage, Tremonti tampil pada hari ke 4 dari rangkaian penutup Shiprocked 2014. Ada nama lain seperti Candlebox, Papa Roach dan lainnya.
SLASH MEMASUKI MASA TRACKING
Slash bersama Myles, dan Elvis di studio
Setelah 2 album solo pertama Slash bertajuk Slash (2010) dimana banyak sekali menghadirkan rocker kondang dan ladies rocker kemudian dilanjutkan dengan Apocalyptic Love (2012) dimana Slash hadir tanpa nuansa gotong-royong seperti album pertamanya, dan keseluruhan 2 album tersebut dikerjakan oleh produser yang sama. – Eric Valentine – Kali ini Slash yang sedang berada di Studio bersama teman – teman the Conspirators nya yang dibentuk oleh Slash sendiri lewat audisi sesaat sebelum Apocalyptic Love diselesaikan telah memutuskan untuk bekerja sama dengan Michael ‘Elvis’ Baskette.
Ini akan menjadi album solo ke 3 Slash dimana ketiganya melibatkan Myles Kennedy, namun akan menarik sekali untuk mendengar hasil bergabungnya Elvis sebagai Produser.
Perkenalan Myles dengan Elvis sebelumnya bukanlah pada album Blackbird Alter Bridge, melainkan ketika Myles masih bersama band awalnya dalam pengerjaan album kedua The Mayfield Four dulu dimana Elvis muda pada saat itu bertindak sebagai Engineer dan Myles menyukai karya bersama Elvis sebelum akhirnya bekerja sama dengan AB sebagai produser sejak era Blackbird.
Slash mulai kembali bekerja pada album akhir 2013 lalu sesaat setelah Slash menyelesaikan film horror, Nothing Left to Fear yang melibatkan dirinya sebagai Produser, dan pada saat yang berdekatan/sama Myles sudah mulai promo tour dan Interview bersama Mark Tremonti guna membantu perilisan Fortress Alter Bridge.
